History:
1974: Married couple Maryse and Rudolph Ritter, along with Heinz Huettebraeker KG, founded the ARTINA Kunstguss Gmbh
1975: The town of Kirchham in Upper Austria acquired a 1600 square meter piece of land to be constructed into a production facility.
1978: After Huettebraeker KG’s exit, the company SKS from Sundern, Deutschland took over 50% of the company’s shares.
1979: A production facility was expanded by 900 square meters. ARTINA products received an Austrian Certificate of Excellence, awarding ARTINA for its outstanding quality.
1983: An additional warehouse at 1000 square meters was constructed.
1995: SKS took over all shares in the company, thus taking over full ownership.
1999: SKS took over the press casting production from ARTINA’s sister company Schoett of Menden, Germany. The production space was expanded by 1550 square meters.
2006: Production began for diverse automobile companies such as BMW in Steyr, Austria
2009: ARTINA was purchased by Klaus Oberhumer. Items with high design standards and a long lasting nature were the focus points involved in the new company’s development. Management, Marketing, Design, and Sales departments moved location to Laakirchen (Upper Austria). The pewter production on its original place in Kirchham (Upper Austria) is done in cooperation with Mevisto.
